Spring first half term 

In English, we will be using the story ‘Dogger’ for sentence and story writing opportunities. We will also be looking at non-fiction books about toys and games.

In Maths, we will be continuing to add and subtract and beginning to use multiplication and division.

In Science, we will be exploring everyday materials.

In History, we will be studying our family history.

In Art, we will be exploring sculpture and creating our own sculpture using clay. 

In RE, we will be learning about places of worship.

In ICT, we will be collecting data and creating pictograms and graphs using digital tools.

In Music, we will be listening to different styles of music, playing singing games and improvising. We will also be learning to play further notes on a glockenspiel.

Class Information

Our PE days are Monday and Thursday, but children should bring their PE kit in on Monday and leave it until Friday.

Homework is set on Dojo and is expected to be handed in by each Friday morning.

Spellings should be practised on Spelling Shed.  Our spelling test is on a Friday.

Children should read at home to an adult at least 3 times a week. Reading records will be checked every Friday.
